The short version
I'm one person running one business. I collect what you type into a form so I can call you back about equipment. I don't sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. There is no tracking on this site.
What I collect
When you fill out a form, I keep what you put in it:
- Your name
- Your phone number, and your email if you give me one
- Whatever you wrote in the message or equipment box
- Which page you sent it from
I also record your IP address and browser user-agent with the message. That's used for one thing: stopping automated spam. It isn't used to build a profile of you and it isn't shared.
If you sign up for the mailing list, I keep your email address and the date you signed up. Nothing else.
What I don't do
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks.
- No cookies for visitors. The only cookie this site sets is the one that keeps me logged into my own admin panel.
- No selling or sharing your information with anybody, ever.
- No financing applications, so I never ask for and never hold a Social Security number, a credit application, or bank details through this website.
Where it's kept
This site runs on Cloudflare. Your message is stored in a Cloudflare database and, if email delivery is turned on, a copy is sent to my inbox through an email provider so I see it on my phone. Those companies host the data on my behalf; they don't get to use it for anything else.
How long I keep it
Messages stay in my system while they're useful — usually a couple of years, so I can look up who bought what and honor what I told somebody. Mailing list addresses stay until you ask to come off.
Getting your information removed
Ask me and I'll delete it. Call or text (931) 547-9570 , or email info@highlandrimequipmentcompany.com. You don't need a reason and I won't argue about it. To come off the mailing list, reply to any message I send.
Text messages
If you give me your phone number and tick the consent box, you're agreeing that I can call or text you about equipment. That's me personally, from my own phone — not an automated system. Tell me to stop and I'll stop.
Children
This site sells used machinery. It isn't aimed at children and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
Changes
If I change how any of this works, I'll change this page and update the date at the top.
