The short version
Everything I sell is used equipment, sold as-is. I tell you what I know about a machine and what I did to it. You come look at it and decide for yourself. Once you buy it, it's yours.
About the listings
I write the listings myself and I try hard to make them accurate — hours, year, what I serviced, and what's still worn. Hours come off the meter on the machine, and a meter can be wrong or can have been replaced. Photos are of the actual unit.
A listing is a description, not a warranty. If I've made a mistake on a listing, tell me and I'll fix it.
Sold as-is
Used equipment is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty of any kind — express or implied — unless I put something different in writing on your bill of sale. That's the trade-off that makes used equipment cost what it costs.
This is exactly why I tell everybody to come see it run. Start it, drive it, get under it, bring somebody who knows machines. Take your time. I'm not going to rush you and I'm not going to be offended.
Prices and availability
Prices are in U.S. dollars and can change. A unit is available until it isn't — I sell to whoever shows up with the money first, and I update this site as fast as I can. A price on this site is not a binding offer until we've both agreed to a deal.
Tennessee sales tax applies unless you bring a valid resale certificate.
Deposits
If you put money down to hold something, I'll mark it Sale Pending and write you a receipt saying what the deposit is and whether it's refundable. Whatever that receipt says is what governs — not this page.
No financing
I don't offer financing and I don't arrange it. There's no credit application on this site and I never ask for a Social Security number. If a page anywhere claims to offer you financing on my behalf, it isn't me.
Equipment I buy from you
When I make you an offer, that number assumes the machine is what you described. If I show up and it's substantially different, I'll tell you straight and we can renegotiate or walk away — no hard feelings either direction. You need to actually own the equipment and be able to hand over clear title to it.
Using this site
Don't scrape it, don't hammer the forms, and don't use the contact forms to send me sales pitches. The text and photos on this site are mine.
Limits
I do this honestly and I stand behind what I say, but as a matter of law: my liability in connection with this website and any unit sold through it is limited to the amount you actually paid me for that unit. I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
